My Third Rule: Rule of Thirds
The rule of thirds is a basic principle in photography to break the photo down into thirds both horizontally and vertically, separating the photo into 9 different squares, and then taking the photo by placing the main object on one (or multiple) of the 4 corners where the 9 squares meet instead of in the center of the photograph.
